From 30th of September till 11th of October the Red square will be closed for visiting as it will be prepared for the festive meeting of the Olympic flame.
The Olympic torch relay will be performed in Russia since 7th of October till 7th of February – the date of the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Sochi. It will start on the Red square during the festival “The Circle of Light”, which will be held in the capital from 4th to 8th of October and where everybody will be able to see the Olympic flame.
Because of this event the visiting of Lenin`s Tomb will be restricted on 6th of October.
