Latvian association of professional guides invite everyone to celebrate the day of free guided tours in Riga. Free excursions in Latvian, Russian, English and German will be arranged in the Latvian capital for the tenth time on 19 February 2011. In addition to traditional walks on the Boulevard Ring and the Old Town, architectural tours to enjoy the best examples of Art Nouveau, a number of additional excursions will be offered to the public, such as “Green Street”, “The Birth of Riga”, “Fortified Town”, “Birds and Animals” and many others. There will also be special programmes for kids – “Tour for Children: Riga 800 years ago and now.”
If you wish to join any of the tours please come on 19 February at 11 am and 1 pm to the Military Museum entrance (Smilshu str. 20). Tours last about one hour.
