Great news! Finally, after more than two years of strict covid restrictions and border closures China has started issuing all types of visas. Tourists visa applications are open from 15 March 2023.
Short-term visitors to China can benefit from a visa–free 72 hours travel to Beijing and enjoy the most import landmarks of the city and its surroundings: the Great Wall, Ming Tomb and much more. To comply with the regulation you must be transiting through China, i.e. arriving at Beijing International Airport from one country and then travel to another.
