We are pleased to announce that starting from 14 February 2022 Mongolia has officially opened its borders for international travellers.
All covid related restrictions have also been removed.
If you are fully vaccinated you will need to provide a negative PCR test taken 72 hours before entry into the country. There are no any other formalities to complete. We will assist all our customers with testing in Irkutsk (Lake Baikal) before travelling to Mongolia.
Trans-Mongolian Tours
Railway connection – there is still no railway connection between Russia and Mongolia. Once the schedule is published, we will update this page accordingly. We hope the railway connection will resume soon.
At the moment it is possible to enter Mongolia by air or road.
If you are travelling on a trans-mongolian tour, we will offer you alternative options to enter Mongolia until the railway connection is resumed.
